Start an Educators Rising Chapter

Why Start a Chapter?

An Educators Rising chapter can help students:

  • Explore careers in teaching, administration, counseling, and educational support services
  • Develop leadership, communication, and professional skills
  • Participate in state and national competitive events
  • Attend Mississippi Educators Rising conferences and leadership activities
  • Complete service projects that support schools and communities
  • Connect with educators, colleges, universities, and education professionals
  • Earn recognition for their accomplishments
  • Build a strong foundation for future college and career success

Chapters may be established through a Career and Technical Education program, teacher academy, education pathway, student organization, school club, or other approved school program.
