State Leadership Conference

The Mississippi Educators Rising State Leadership Conference is the premier annual event for Educators Rising members across the state. This multi-day conference brings together members, advisors, postsecondary partners, and education professionals for an engaging experience focused on leadership, professional growth, competition, and networking.

Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents through competitive events, attend interactive workshops, connect with colleges and universities, explore careers in education, and network with peers from across the state. The conference also serves as the qualifying event for many students seeking to advance to the National Educators Rising Conference.

Whether attending as a competitor or participant, students leave inspired, motivated, and better prepared to become tomorrow's educators and leaders.

Registration Closes:  December 9, 2026

Pre-Score Deadline:  December 18, 2026


Students must be affiliated members by November 1 to be eligible to compete at or attend the State Leadership Conference.

All students must have a completed and signed Liability release form.

About Our Community Service Partner

Methodist Children's Homes of Mississippi (MCH) is committed to providing hope and healing for children who have experienced difficult circumstances, including neglect, abuse, and human trafficking. Through a variety of programs and services, MCH works to restore relationships, provide loving family environments, and help youth thrive independently. Their campus is home to more than 40 foster teens, where they receive therapeutic care in a warm, nurturing environment focused on healing and growth.

Project Goal

Mississippi Educators Rising members will collect new art supplies to support the therapeutic and creative activities offered to children and youth served by Methodist Children's Homes of Mississippi.

Collection Guidelines
• All donated items must be new and unused.
• Please do not donate opened, partially used, or damaged items.
• Donations should be delivered to the designated Community Service Collection Area during conference registration.
• Schools are encouraged to involve all chapter members in the collection effort.
• Donations may be brought in boxes, bags, or storage containers.
• Clearly label donations with your school or chapter name.
• Chapters may donate any quantity of requested items.
• All donations will be presented to Methodist Children's Homes of Mississippi following the conference.
